Dr. David Kimhy is a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry of Columbia University. He received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Long Island University and completed his clinical internship at Hillside Hospital-Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He completed a post-doctoral fellowship in schizophrenia research at Columbia University.
Dr. Kimhy published numerous articles in leading peer-reviewed scientific journals including Schizophrenia Research, Schizophrenia Bulletin, Journal of Psychiatric Research, Psychopathology, Psychiatric Services, Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, and the American Journal of Psychiatry. Dr. Kimhy is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the International Early Psychosis Association (IEPA). He works with adolescents (age 12 and older) and adults and provides individual psychotherapy and neuropsychological assessment in his office located in the Flatiron section of Manhattan.
